I received my education from Houston's European Institute of Massage Therapy in 1992.
I have a Texas license (many folks offering massage, do not --- ask them)
I also am Nationally Certified (which requires a background check)
Held office, as Vice President & President, with Texas Association of Massage Therapist before we joined with AMTA. My group was responsible for raising the requirements for Texas therapists -- in order to lessen the 'rif raf' from using our professional as a front for theirs :-)
I worked with a chiropractor for 7 years, before insurance companies decided they no longer wanted to cover massage.
Was instrumental in starting hospital massages for employees, where I was employed to give free mini massages for afternoon and midnight shifts.
Worked in country club setting doing massages indoors and out (on golf coarse)
Have been employed for past twenty years by an agency that offers massage therapy to homebound, 'special needs' clients.
My practice is mainly by word of mouth and work strictly in homes of clients.
I offer ear candling and massage cupping.
If you have any questions, simply give me a call or send me an email. I look forward to hearing from you.
Namaste!
